MARTIN+OSA HOSTS BLOCK PARTY AT GRAND OPENING
May 2 Retailer Re-introduces Style to South Side Works


PITTSBURGH, PA – American Eagle Outfitters Inc. opens a new store, Martin + Osa, May 2, in South Side Works. Martin + Osa’s clothing is described as business casual and for those who lead an active life.
To kick off its grand opening the store will collaborate with restaurants in South Side Works and host a block party. The store opens at 9 a.m. May 2 kicking off its 50 percent off sale for anything in the new store or the existing Martin + Osa located at the Ross Park Mall. The sale lasts until May 10.
Collaborating with surrounding restaurants, Martin + Osa hosts a block party at noon on May 2, with a boat race on the Monongahela River behind American Eagle headquarters. Customers are welcomed into the new store, and can help themselves to the catering for only $10, which will be going to American Eagle’s favorite charity, Big Brothers Big Sisters. At 2 p.m. guests can relax under a tent for $10 to take in the “Show
Your classy side” fashion show, which features all of the latest trends available at Martin + Osa. The proceeds will go to the Big Brothers Big Sisters Foundation. Tusca Global Tapas will be the featured caterer during the fashion show.
James Donnelly, chief executive officer of American Eagle Outfitters, said, “We now have all of our brand names in one location, along with out headquarters, and hope to beat these touch economic trends.”
American Eagle hopes to reach its market of 25-40 year old men and women in the South Side Works by opening the new store next to its family brand.
Martin + Osa was launched in 2006, and has spread nationwide to 28 stores, including recently opened store in Ross Park Mall in the North Hills.
